Role: Assistant Headteacher
I started teaching in 1994 in a very small primary school in the Rhondda Valleys, where I grew up. In 1995 I was very lucky to be offered a job in Marlborough Junior School where I remained for 17 years. I feel very privileged to have been part of the Marlborough family for coming up to 25 years. In 2018 I was appointed as one of the Assistant Headteachers.
I live in the Penylan community with my husband and two teenage children. In my spare time to love spending time with my family; I particularly love walks in the country and travelling to new places and cities.
My favourite pastimes are cooking, going to classes at the gym and I am an avid reader.
I also love going to the theatre and cinema with friends and eating out; I especially love Thai and Indian cuisines.
My top character strength is perseverance.
