Name: Anna Kosaner
Role: Class teacher

I started teaching in 2006 at Lakeside and then Ninian Park. I joined Marlborough in 2011; initially as a specialist teacher supporting pupils with English as an additional language, then returning to class in 2016. I love teaching and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
I live with my Turkish husband, two fabulous daughters and the cutest and most spoilt dog in the world, Hazel. I love being active and spending time outside. I also love to travel and have spent time working in Egypt and traveling around Africa, South East Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Although, admittedly, I have done less adventuring since my children arrived!
I have so many favourite places, but if I had to choose, I love the landscape of Snowdonia National Park.
I like all sorts of music and am a huge fan of movies from the 1980s. Who doesn’t love Ferris Beulah?
I have been a vegetarian since I was 10 years old and my favourite meal is vegetarian curry. I’m a shameless coffee snob and I find instant coffee offensive.
My top character strength is prudence, meaning that I think carefully about what I want to say and what the impact of my words will be. I was a little upset at first, but after a great deal of thought and consideration, I‘ve decided it’s probably quite accurate
