We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. As a whole school we will be focusing on the story, ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ by Drew Daywalt.

If you are unfamiliar with the book you can find it on YouTube  The Day the Crayons Quit

We would hope that every one of our children and staff have a favourite colour. Rather that ask you to create or buy a costume we thought we’d be more environmentally friendly this year and ask everyone to dress in their favourite colour. This might be all in green if your child has a green oufit or it might be a pink t’shirt with a pair of jeans. We will be exploring the story throughout the day in each year group. We hope to create a graph of crayon colours using children on the playground and our very own Marlborough rainbow. Many thanks for your continued support.
